The Audi R8 V10 Decennium celebrates ten years of V10 R8s
We think ten years of the naturally-aspirated, V10-engined Audi R8 is something worth celebrating.
So does Audi, hence the new R8 V10 ‘Decennium’ – an ode to one full decade of its all-wheel drive, ten-cylinder supercar.
The special edition is limited to 222 cars – all Coupes. The paint is Daytona Grey with a matte finish – the 20-inch wheels and the V10’s intake manifold are both finished in bronze, while the front spoiler, side sills and the diffuser are gloss black, and the mirror housings carbonfibre.
Inside it’s all-black, with gloss carbon trim, diamond-pattern seats with contrast stitching in copper and an Alcantara steering wheel.
And naturally there are many Decennium – which means ‘decade’ in Latin – badges dotted throughout.
Mechanically-speaking, the Decennium is unchanged from the regular R8 V10 Plus.
That means 620hp and 580Nm from the 5.2-litre nat-asp V10, giving 0-100km/h in 3.1secs and a top speed of 330km/h.
