What have we got here then? VW Golf R 333 Limited Edition teased

Not satisfied with last year’s ‘20 Years’ edition – which we’ve had a go in, don’t forget – Volkswagen has teased another non-standard Golf R, this time dubbed the 333 Limited Edition.

Information about the car is pretty scarce; in fact all VW has said so far is that the full reveal will take place on 31 May and that it’ll only be available in Germany. Sorry everyone else.

Which leaves us poring over the video (see below) for details. Looks like the 333 Limited Edition has got the same Akrapovic exhausts and blue brake calipers as the 20 Years, plus 333 and R decals on the exterior.

And do our eyes deceive us or is that a more prominent front end slash splitter poking out from the chin?

All will be revealed in a few weeks’ time…
