Electric Rolls-Royce Spectre Rolls into Singapore for South East Asian debut starting from S$2,138,888 before COE

Marina Bay Cruise Centre, Singapore - One trend of electrification that many luxury automotive marques have noticed is new and younger buyers entering the fold.

It's certainly no exception for Rolls-Royce, which saw the Spectre – its first all-electric ultra-luxury super-coupe that produces 585hp and 900Nm – make its debut in South East Asia in Singapore on 22 August, with a price-tag starting from S$2,138,888 before COE and options.

From what we've been told, customer interest for the brand's first all-electric model was fired-up from as early as two to three years ago, with many of these indications of interests converted to outright bookings when the car was officially launched.

Rolls-Royce and electrification are a great match, with the Spectre a stately, sublime and silent symbol of quiet luxury that is more emotional than empirical.

Mind, with the brand promising to go fully-electrified by 2030, the rest of the Rolls-Royce portfolio is likely to follow suit with the next model iterations.

In this segment, it's all about having options, so suffice to say, the Spectre isn't intended to be the Swiss Army Knife of one's garage, where you need a mega-range (from a full charge) for the sake of utility.

Through dialogue with its prospects, the Spectre's 500+km range was deemed sufficient, because if they really needed to cover a greater distance, there're always more practical vehicles in the garage... or the helicopter / jet.

From the Cullinan to the latest bespoke Droptail La Rose Noire and now the Spectre, Rolls-Royce aficionados have so much confidence in the brand there's never a need to adopt a 'wait-and-see' attitude, because you know the results will surely surpass one's expectations.

And with order banks in the APAC region swelling to beyond 200 (depending on the complexity of customisation, new orders in Singapore are looking at late 2024 / 2025 deliveries), it's pretty evident the Spectre is the uber-luxury electric vehicle that the well-heeled have been waiting for.
