Singapore - Cycle & Carriage Singapore, Citroen’s dealership here re-introduces the C5 Aircross as a more attainable Category A COE car.

The C5 Aircross, which is known for its floofy Progressive Hydraulic Cushions® system which delivers a "Magic Carpet Ride”, is now powered by a "pocket friendlier" 1.2L PureTech turbocharged 3-cylinder engine, producing 129hp, and 230Nm of torque. This is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and delivers an impressive claimed 4.9L/100km and 113g/km, the latter would mean that it benefits from a VES A2 rebate.

The Citroën C5 Aircross is equipped with a 12.3” TFT digital instrument cluster and 8” touchscreen infotainment panel, boasting both Apple and Android device connectivity, with MirrorLink Technology.

In ensuring the best in versatility, the C5 Aircross retains its three individual full-sized modular rear seats, which can slide, fold and recline for maximum flexibility, with the rear seats rolled forward, boot space can be increased from 580 litres to 720 litres. With the rear seats folded, cargo capacity is maximised at 1,630 litres.

Safety is also a priority, with up to 11 impressive safety and driver aid systems, for instance the Active Safety Brakes system that will warn the driver of a potential accident and will kick in the brakes if there is no response from the driver. And also the Active Lane Keep Assist which helps drivers stay on a safe path and avoid potential dangers while Speed Limit Recognition and Recommendation utilises the on-board camera to identify current and varying speed limits for the driver to better control the vehicle in an optimal and safe way.

“Powered by an efficient and high-performance petrol engine, the latest Citroën C5 Aircross SUV will bring about greater fuel efficiency with its award-winning 1.2L Turbocharged PureTech engine, which has clinched the International Engine of the Year Award in 4 consecutive years since 2015. Now in Category A COE, it will be more affordably priced, encouraging more potential customers to experience and discover the car yourself.” says Royston Soh, Divisional Manager, Head of Multi-Franchise Sales.

This weekend, the Citroën C5 Aircross SUV 1.2L is available from $119,999, which includes an exclusive launch promo worth up to $12,000, including $2,000 cash discount, 3-year servicing plan, 1-year road tax.
