Finding the perfect driving position is easily within control, with the help of eight-way adjustable electric seats, which provide ergonomic positioning. The Macan boasts 488-litres of luggage space, ideal for that weekend getaway, but it flaunts its utility even more with the rear seats folded down, offering a maximum of 1,503-litres.

The cabin experience is enhanced further by the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system, which adds premium connectivity and powers a 10.9-inch full HD touchscreen, online navigation and Apple CarPlay® with Siri® voice control.

Porsche Macan

The new Macan range boasts more powerful engines than ever, beginning with a turbocharged 2.0-litre inline-four that produces 265PS and 400Nm, a boost of 20PS and 30Nm over its predecessor.

As a daily driver, the Macan offers optimum damping adjustability to suit variable driving conditions, thanks to its Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system. With this, a sporty driving experience is ready to go when you are, or you can opt to have the suspension dialled-down for a smoother ride.

A stab at the throttle in the standard Macan will deliver performance that is anything but entry-level. It reaches 100km/h in just 6.2secs with the Sport Chrono Package, with instantaneous gear shifts delivered by the 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. The Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel- drive system ensures that the Macan connects to the road with optimum traction.

Porsche Macan S

The Macan S raises the bar in performance and is powered by a lively 2.9-litre twin- turbocharged V6, which produces 380PS (+26PS) and 520Nm (+40Nm). Compared to the Macan, the Macan S features larger nose vents for improved airflow, 20-inch rims and an optional sports exhaust system with quad exhaust tips, delivering a visual promise of even more rapid performance. A sporty engine note is the perfect match to its storming 4.6secs 0-100km/h sprint time, when fitted with the Sport Chrono package.

Porsche Macan GTS

The Porsche Macan GTS provides the sportiest Macan experience, and features various elements that are worthy of its status as the flagship model. The GTS brings with it styling at home on both the streets and the track, from tinted LED headlights, to front and rear body-coloured aprons, as well as SportDesign side skirts. The blacked-out tailpipes hint strongly at the GTS’s performance, with matching dark-tinted rear lamps.

The largest available 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels dominate the wheel wells for a particularly aggressive look. The height adjustable sports air suspension, including the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) together with a lower ride height add style and sporty rigidity.

The top-of-the-range Macan accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 4.3secs with the Sport Chrono package - in other words, it can keep up with a 718 Cayman S! To handle the immense 440PS and 550Nm of torque output, the Macan GTS boasts improved stopping power courtesy of Porsche Surface Coated Brakes (PSCB).

With a range of options to suit individual tastes, the Macan offers a broad scope for personalisation. With up to 14 colours including vibrant new options like Papaya Metallic, Gentian Blue Metallic, and Python Green (only available on the Macan GTS with the GTS Sport package) along with alloy rim choices spanning 19-inches to 21-inches, customers are spoilt for choice.

For sharper cornering response and improved lateral dynamics, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) is available as an option on all Macan models. This is a system also found on the Porsche 911, which adjusts the torque distribution to the rear wheels and locks the rear differential for better acceleration upon corner exit.
