Audi Sport has just launched six new examples of the most powerful race car in their customer racing division. Dubbed the Audi R8 LMS GT2 Colour Edition, there will be six of these new edition cars, giving customers a touch more exclusivity when they’re gunning it on the track.

The six colours are: Kyalami green, Misano red, Nogaro blue, Sebring black, Tactical green, Vegas yellow

“For the first time in the 13-year history of Audi Sport customer racing we are offering such a colour concept to our customers,” says Chris Reinke, Head of Audi Sport customer racing.

“With one model per colour, our Colour Edition guarantees pure individuality and will not be issued a second time like this. It is unique compared to our competitors and attracts attention – whether as a collector’s item or as a race car at track days and competitions.”

Like the R8 LMS GT2 race cars, the Colour Edition models are built at the Audi Neckarsulm site alongside the standard models. Each unit of the R8 LMS GT2 is powered by 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine that is based on the production model car. Power is rated at 640hp, and the car is built in compliance with GT2 series regulations.
